The Footedale Volunteer Fire Department, founded in 1948, is a small department with four major main fire trucks. While we mostly serve the community of Footedale, we are sometimes called in to assist other departments within German Township. Other neighboring townships that we've responded to include Menallen, Redstone, and South Union Townships.

A few years ago, we used to run our very own ambulance service. (It is pictured in some photos in the pictures section of the web site.)

In case of an emergency, please dial 911. Fayette County has had a 911 system in place for quite a few years now. Please be sure to know your new "updated" 911 address. It's also a very good idea to have your new house number posted near your place of residence so that emergency personnel can find you easily.
